Last day to earn points for Collin Creek Mall 2011-12 My School�s Cool competition is Monday, April 30

At the beginning of the 2011-12 school year, 11 schools enrolled in the My School’s Cool program at Collin Creek Mall. Throughout the school year, students, teachers, family members and friends have been turning sales receipts from shopping center stores into points in the hopes of their school earning a share of $20,000 in cash prizes from Collin Creek Mall. In September, Otto Middle School was awarded $1,000 in a Facebook competition. The three schools with the most total points during the 2011-12 school year will share the remaining $19,000.
As the school year comes to a close, Collin Creek Mall has announced that Monday April 30 is the last day to earn points towards the 2011-12 competition. The top point earners of the participating schools will be announced at a luncheon on Tuesday, May 15.
Collin Creek Mall receipts dated Monday, August 1, 2011 to Monday, April 30, 2012 can be submitted to earn points for any of the participating schools and will count towards the final tabulation. Collin Creek Mall receipts with these qualifying dates must be dropped into one of the school lockers located on the lower level near Brookstone or turned in to the respective school for redemption prior to the deadline of Monday, May 7. Shoppers who wish to retain receipts may take advantage of the Points Pass program by stopping in at the mall office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for receipt validation.
Schools enrolled in the 2011-12 program include Akin Elementary in Wylie, Bethany Elementary in Plano, Carlisle Elementary in Plano, Carpenter Middle School in Plano, Christie Elementary in Plano, Dartmouth Elementary in Richardson, Draper Intermediate School in Wylie, Plano East Senior High in Plano, Otto Middle School in Plano, Stinson Elementary in Plano and Williams High School in Plano.
Only schools that have been officially enrolled in the 2011-12 My School’s Cool by Collin Creek Mall are eligible to compete for a share in this school year’s cash prizes.
