A Plano radiologist was found dead in an alleged murder-suicide that occurred in the small town of Jesup in Buchanan County, Iowa, on Wednesday night.

Timothy Glenn Roses, 45, was found dead outside a home along with Lindsey Nichols, 22, of Evansdale, Iowa. According to appraisal district records, Roses lived in Rockwall with his wife.

According to the Waterloo Courier, a newspaper based in neighboring Black Hawk County, a neighbor said she came home within minutes of the incident and saw two people on the ground. A large silver pickup with out-of-state license plates was near the bodies. Other witnesses said they were told a man shot his ex-girlfriend then turned the weapon on himself.

Nichols' uncle told the Waterloo Courier that Nichols knew Roses through Covenant Medical Center, where she had studied radiology.

Buchanan County authorities have not confirmed this as of Thursday, stating only that they were investigating a shooting that killed two people, according to the local news source. They also said there was no continuing threat to the public.

Roses' Plano office was located off Preston Park Road. He was also part of a private radiology group at Covenant Medical Center for four to five years, said Chris Hires, spokesperson for Covenant Medical Center. However, he was not employed by the hospital.

Roses' profile was found on the Texas Health Resources website, where Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen was listed as his primary hospital. According to hospital representatives, however, Roses was not affiliated with the hospital. The information was later removed from the website Thursday afternoon.

"Dr. Roses had applied for, but had not received, physician privileges at the hospital or provided any care to patients at the hospital," said Jennifer Erickson, spokeswoman for Texas Health Presbyterian hospitals at Plano and Allen. "He was not a member of the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen. His name appeared on the website due to computer error between the hospital and his private employer."
